He’s the most Intelligent of All
His Love for the LORD is His Main Call
We call it The Happy Hour.
It seems to me more like the Hour of Power
Sometimes we Worship
Sometimes we Praise
But most of all we Love each other in Many Ways
We let our hair down that’s for sure
A Good Laugh seems our Hearts to Cure
When we all fellowship and Pray
It brings us closer in every Way
It seems We’re all better off at the end of the Day

Grandma always made them
The very best she could
She said it was the Love she stirred in

I’m not sure what breed he is
I pretend he is an Australian Shepherd because they are as smart as can be
I normally have him in my heart just for me

Do you remember Dinner on the grounds
I was a little boy
I used to run and play all day
There was always lots of good food
The more people ate. The more food there was
I was too young to notice at the time
After dinner there was singing in the Church
Gospel Music flowed from the windows
On Good Days Aunt Hattie would get to shouting
Us kids stayed outside and played not to create a disturbance
We would pull ourselves up and look in the windows
There were strange things going on as the people swayed back and fort to the music
I learned later it was called the Holy Spirit
What ever it was it was from heaven
Some said they got healed
From what I’m not sure
But they said it was a real cure
Seems things aren’t like they used to be
I think Old Time Religion is good enough for me

Politics is a Blessing if you're on the right side
I guess it’s just the Opposite if you don’t see eye to eye
My question is where will it go after everything else is gone.
I think I know but I may be wrong
It won’t be in Heaven that’s for sure
That leaves only one place for it to endure

When that long black train comes to carry us home
our souls will only be allowed to board alone.
GOD does not measure Heavenly prosperity by earthly wealth.
GOD measures Heavenly prosperity by the Love shown by sending HIS SON JESUS CHRIST
We’ve got the best family in the world
They're always helping us with everything
They don’t wait for special occasions
To bring us meals
They drive us all around
Even to downtown
Birthdays are so very special
They give us way more than we need
The grandkids are the best
They never rest
Always coming to get Grandma’s cookies
With a big story to tell
Nothing could be better
Then to live in South Carolina
