Home is where the heart is, no matter where you roam. 
Never wanting to venture too far from our earthly home. 

My soul is longing for its Heavenly Home. 
Being content, I’ve found it never more to roam.

Life is but a minute; eternity is forever 
Where should my emphasis lie
Between the longevity of the two 
Hoping to find the answer before I die

Such a short time to find the solution 
To something that lasts forever 
It’s slowly approaching from God’s Throne on that winding Crystal River

As time marches on, our hearts grow fond of the home where we will be
It is only through faith in God that my Glorious Heavenly Home I shall see

Finding out that life is not a minute but just a fleeting second for me
Almost missing the key of Jesus that unlocked the door and set me free

I am serving God every day in every which way. 
I’m so thankful in my heart that He came to stay. 

Understanding His Glorious Love will never be explained. 
Praise God. Praise God. God’s Love can never be contained.

Love lasts through eternity sending Jesus to set me free.
I bow my head and thank him everyday for sharing his love with me.

Have I ever been in a deep canyon with seemingly no way out?
Distress takes over with nowhere to go, only hearing an echo of my shout.

Calming down and beginning to pray, my mind quietens, seeing a new way. 
A brand new canyon comes into view. I almost want to stay.

Seeing God's creation brings Hope that was out of sight. 
God is bringing new Faith by the dawning of the light. 

A new exit appears beng overlooked before. 
Falling on my knees and thanking Him for evermore

Even to the Cruel Cross, where you did bleed

Desiring  the voice of your Father above

Not knowing when or where following along the path you trod
Following with all my heart ever seeking your Father God

Never give up till this life on Earth is finished
Knowing Gods Love will never be diminished

Many promises lead to a much happier life

How do I find these promises that are forever and forever will be
By searching the divine scriptures, he left for you and me

The key lies in His Son He sent to save us from sin
By accepting Him, the promises will start pouring in

Being filled with God's Glorious Love so divine

It's not often the Spirit of God touches our hearts
The feeling comes after prayer and worship starts 

The joy that comes in is most  unexplained
Releasing us from our sins where we were chained

Feeling light as a feather praising his name
Constantly praising God from whence Love came

Victory comes slowly, often through despair 
Trudging along the race, a medal waiting somewhere

The satisfaction that comes is not from winning or losing. 
It simply comes from the race we are choosing. 

The race of life is never won until the end becomes clear 
Passing through the shadow of death, Jesus is so near

Striving for the finish line in Heaven above
God awarded the trophy of his Eternal Love
