That old clock standing in the hall
never missed a tick or chime that I could recall
Then one day it became silent
To look at its face it seemed to be smiling
An anostinushed look came over all of our faces
The winding of that clock was one of Grandamas many sweet graces
Grandma died about a month ago
That old clock longed for her touch so
She became tired and could live no longer I guess the same for the clock
We wound it as tight as we could but never another chime or a tock
We bowed our heads and said a silent prayer for Grandma in Heaven
and that old silent clock a reminder forever

Thank You, Lord, for the Blessings you have given me
Thank you most of all for Your Son Jesus you sent to die for me
Thank You, Lord, for the friends You have sent my way
For the Love that flows through your Son Jesus and is here to stay
Thank you for my family here on the BFN
That through reading the scriptures we may see you again and again
Thank You, Lord, for answering my prayers that I can see
I pray Lord that others may see Your Son Jesus in me
Beautiful times we share on this Net
When Your Holy Spirit Assends and gives us rest
Bowing my head and praising Your Name
I can't thank You enough for Your Love when Jesus came
Deu 28:2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:

Sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean in Folly Beach, South Carolina.
I long for the winds of yesteryear that warmed my heart by the Charleston Shore
The warmth of the sea blowing over me I will remember for evermore
Things were much sweeter then and quieter all around
If only I could feel those winds blow again what a beautiful sound
What a miracle I discovered today
Those winds are all around
In my memories, I can feel the warmth and hear the calming sound
Thank You, God, for my memories that last for evermore
Feeling the winds of Your Love on that Ole Majestic Charleston Shore

Life resembles the hands of a clock
Two move slowly and one fast with every tick tock
When I am young the hour hand moves so slowly
Thinking I'm so perfect and Holy
Middle age arrives the minute hand is moving faster now
I think I know and can explain everything somehow
My Golden Years have arrived I am speeding toward the finish line
Please, God, slow me down, more time I need, that the Crown will be mine

In the light of grace, I find my way,
A heart ablaze, where doubts decay.
Justified and free, in Jesus I stay,
My sins, once heavy, washed away.
With humble steps, I tread this path,
Where shadows flee and darkness hath no wrath.
For in His love, my soul finds solace,
A sanctuary where fears are banished with no malice
I was lost, burdened by my transgressions,
But His mercy embraced me with divine expressions.
Every stain, every scar, all forgiven, all erased,
By His sacrifice, His love, I am embraced
In the depths of my being, I feel the truth,
His redemption, a melody that soothes.
No longer bound by guilt's heavy chains,
I dance in freedom, where joy remains.
Though my sins were many, now they're gone,
Like a morning mist, swiftly withdrawn.
For in Jesus, I'm justified and set free,
His grace and mercy, a balm to me.
Today, I rejoice, my spirit renewed,
In the loving arms of the One who pursued.
His light guides me through life's endless maze,
I'm justified, I'm happy in Jesus today.

Doubt and Fear are birthed from sin
Both fading away when Love enters in
With no Love we fear and doubt everything
This condition will bring a fierce sting
To be happy and sing along the way
I bow my head praying for Love everyday

A crazy, fun-loving elderly octogenarian senior adult married husband and wife senior couple sitting together in a restaurant are making silly funny tongue wagging faces as motion blurred grandpa photo bombs grandma. Grandma and grandpa are playful and laughing – “still crazy after all these years”.
The tongue only reveals the truth of the spirit
Control your spirit and others will surely hear it
Trying to control the tongue without controlling the spirit
Will leave the tongue wagging with no merit

I hold Heaven and all its Glory in my right hand
I hold hell and all of its misery in my left hand
My tongue is in the middle exclaiming the desires of my heart
If I don't bridle it my soul will be split apart
My choice you see Good or evil
There's no hiding my inner zeal
My thoughts exploding in my tongue will reveal

In the realm of words, where truth resides,
The tongue's fierce power, it oft confides.
A vessel of thoughts, it boldly reveals,
The secrets are hidden in the heart's appeals.
Yet, the tongue alone, cannot bear the weight,
Of a spirit untamed, in a tumultuous state.
For words may flow, with no guiding light,
And truth turns murky, in the absence of sight.
To control the tongue, we must first attend,
To the depths within, where spirits ascend.
For a tongue unbridled, will wag and deceive,
With empty chatter, no substance to retrieve.
The spirit, a flame, that yearns to ignite,
With virtues and grace, it takes flight.
Harness its power, with wisdom's embrace,
And the tongue shall follow, in a measured pace.
For a controlled spirit, others will perceive,
In words of truth, they shall truly believe.
Through the harmony of the soul, the tongue finds worth,
A reflection of spirit revealed in its birth.
So, seek not only to tame the tongue's sway,
But the spirit within is in humble display.
For when the spirit's reign is firm and just,
The tongue shall speak with integrity, we trust.

In moments of fear, my heart finds solace,
For I put my trust in the One divine.
To God, whose word I sing and praise,
In Him, I find courage and fears decline.
No longer am I bound by mortal strife,
For in God's embrace, my worries flee.
What can mere mortals do to threaten my life,
When His love surrounds and sets me free?
Though shadows loom and darkness may come,
My faith remains steadfast, unwavering strong.
For in the arms of God, I am overcome,
With a peace that prevails, a melody's song.
So let fear be silenced, my spirit uplifted,
As I place my trust in the One who is true.
In God, I find refuge, my fears are shifted,
For what can mere mortals ever do?
With the Psalmist's words etched deep in my soul,
I stand unafraid, with courage imbued.
In God's unwavering love, I am made whole,
For His power and grace will see me through
Psa 56:3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
Psa 56:4 In God, whose word I praise— in God, I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
