Since He is with me all the time

God has got me out of many a jam

I am comfortable today in the skin I wear and the soul I bear

God sent His Son Jesus to save me from sin
I am comfortable with stress and strife because of Him

If you are not comfortable today, whatever position you find yourself in
On bended knee, bow your head and pray please Jesus to come to me

Is there more to the Bible? I must say
then Christ dying, giving His life away

This is pretty serious stuff, I must say
I would not  die for anyone today

What kind of Love would it take to do this
The Love of God that gives a sweet kiss

Is this Love far away in heaven, sitting on a throne
It's in the smile of my loved ones, never being alone

The warm feeling I get when a child is born holding a grandchild on a chilly morn
This warm feeling is called love not being of this world; it is from God above

God left His instructions in the book of truth
It would behoove me to read it for my soul to soothe

Reunions are a time of renewal of old friendships
Old friends from High School even renewing family relationships

I always hated to go
No one looks the same as they did years ago

Constantly feeling self-conscience about my weight or dress
Worried that I would end up feeling depressed

After attending, it made little difference 
Everyone has changed, just like me
Time had taken its toll on everyone that I could see

Friendships are more important than looks or clothes
To my surprise, no one snubbed their nose

Individually picked by God and divinely given

They smell so fresh, with skin so soft
Dedicating them to God, lifting them aloft

Always caring and sharing their precious moments
Parading them in front of family and friends to notice
