The sternness of his face, reveals the life he led. 
Oneness with Nature and God, from his eye a tear was shed. 

Once a proud young Brave, hunting for his wife and child.
Always returning home from his conquest with a smile.

Then one day White Man came to drive him from his land. 
He fought with all his might. He did not understand. 

His God Given Rights we're being slowly taken away.
His heart was ripped from his chest. what a sorrowful day. 

Surely as the sun rises and the moon shines at night. 
Through his tears, he would see a brighter light.

For the God, he worshiped, created all nature.
This God would ride with him always rebuilding his stature.

Prayer comes in many different forms I must say. 
I heard a man pray in a way I thought was wrong one day. 

I thought that GOD would never honor that man's prayer. 
Muttering such a prayer would only dissipate In thin air. 

Then one day I needed prayer in the worst way. 
That man prayed for me in his most unusual way.

I felt the Power of GOD settle on my heart that day. 
I will never again judge how any man should choose to pray.

Keep your eyes upon HIM, not to feel the chasting rod. 

HE will give you Peace within, while storms around you swirl. 
Providing a shield of protection, from fiery darts hurled. 

The calmness of HIS Peace and Love you will feel.
Coming to realize in the storms of life, HE is so very real.

What commands such attention?
From where comes such guidance?

Is the silence of their entrance felt as they appear?
Is their witness to the world made very clear?

When GOD is walking with you in every step you take,
you will find is HIS Presence, causing people to awake.

The CREATOR of all mankind, demands attention in any situation.
HIS presence in the room will bring much illumination.
