As the kids board the school bus, with their seats to share. 
We bow our heads and Ask God, to keep them in his care. 

From when they leave the house until they arrive back home
We pray for their Devine Protection wherever they may roam. 

For there is only “One” that can be with them every second of the day. 
That's Our Heavenly Father who is omnipresent in His own way.

The fragrances of this beautiful time of year
Enhance my senses, recalling memories so dear

 It is in God's Great Plan from where it all began
for the sense of smell to bring back memories to man

The smells of sugar and spice on Thanksgiving Day
Brings back many memories of a Wonderful Holiday 

Family and friends gathered around, sharing loving stories
Thanking God for the many blessings  bestowed through His Glory

Parades, football games, afternoon naps
All of these things point us to the couch to relax

After our snooze, we joyfully awake
Anxiously waiting for another Thanksgiving dawn to break

Smile when you're happy, smile when you're sad.
Did you ever try and force a smile when youve been bad ?

An outward smile is an indication of how you want to feel. 
If you have the spirit of God in you, your smile will be very real. 

You can smile through good times, you can smile through bad times. 
Inside you, your beating heart will be happy all the time. 

When your happy inside through and through. 
Never again in your heart can sadness conquer you. 

What is the secret to this happiness I do tell?
It is knowing GOD’S SON JESUS and drinking from his well.

I'd rather have Jesus, why, you ask I say. 
I can only speak for myself, the feelings I have today. 

Before I found the power of Jesus, I was not happy in any way. 
Since he came into my life, all my cares have gone far away. 

I can not explain what has happened to me. 
The splendor of Jesus's love is the only key. 

How can I find this happiness, you ask me.
Bow your head and ask him to come, walk with me. 

Wherever in this life, you find your station. 
you can have contentment in any situation.

The sternness of his face, reveals the life he led. 
Oneness with Nature and God, from his eye a tear was shed. 

Once a proud young Brave, hunting for his wife and child.
Always returning home from his conquest with a smile.

Then one day White Man came to drive him from his land. 
He fought with all his might. He did not understand. 

His God Given Rights we're being slowly taken away.
His heart was ripped from his chest. what a sorrowful day. 

Surely as the sun rises and the moon shines at night. 
Through his tears, he would see a brighter light.

For the God, he worshiped, created all nature.
This God would ride with him always rebuilding his stature.
