Jesus came again today
I thought we were going to play

He just wanted to go for a walk
And talk along the way 

As we walked strange things happened 
Things I could not explain
 
First, he picked up a dead frog
Then it leaped onto a log

Then a fish floating at the edge of the stream
He touched it and it swam away

I was a little scared
But he is my friend 

I will always trust him
No matter what

Because he’s the only real friend I’ve got

It was a dusty day
my friend Jesus came to play

We ran and ran and played so hard
We sat down to rest in the yard 

We went down by the creek where it was cool
Only to find one deep pool  

I could not swim
I was afraid what my friend might do today

He cried look at me !  Look at me !
As he took a step on the water and walked away from me

I shouldn’t be afraid 
I’d seen him do many things I couldn’t explain

When he was near i felt love and peace
That would never cease

I will always remember those days we played
Down by the creek where Jesus prayed.
