Circumcision

The topic of circumcision is unusual, I must say
Studying it in my Bible Fellowship Class today

It was a practice of religious law a long time ago
Being expected to be performed by tradition, you know

Today there is an entirely different set of circumstances
The reason most often being, to take no health chances

If you have an inquiry concerning the practice of circumcision
Consulting with your health professional, he will answer any question

Secure in our Faith

Some are secure in their Faith
They get a glimpse of GOD
They feel his Saving Grace

We don’t have a clue what lies ahead
Wonderful gifts HE has planned for us
Even Our Daily Bread

The Riches in Glory is far too great
For if we get close enough, we will see our fate

It is only when we approach HIS FACE
HE is revealed through his LOVE and GRACE

Through The Ages

It’s all been out there through the Ages
If only when We Believe in HIM and Trust

It’s all been out there for the Healing
If Only Our Faith We Trust

GOD’S Love is out there through the Ages
If in HIS SON We will only Trust and Obey

GOD’S Wisdom and Glory will be with us
If only We Ask and Believe

HE will walk with Us through Eternity
If only we ask and receive

GOD is So Great and So Good
HE will Never be Understood

My Bugger Picking Nose

Sometimes my Nose just itches deep inside
I have to go in there and pull a bugger aside

It’s not very pleasant for you to see
That’s why I try to hide
That’s just between you and me

Once in a while, I see a little blood
That does turn my stomach
It looks much like red mud

I was told not to when I was a little boy
But it brought me such great joy

So today when I Pick
I just bow my head
And try not to flick

The Embalming Room

The embalming room is a strange topic of conversation.
Many hours of toil will bring much perspiration.

Proficiency in training is required to accomplish such a task.
How do l make them look so lifelike? The family would ask.

There is a skill to everything I’ve been told.
The compliments of the family are worth more than gold.

With all the bad things that can come the embalmer's way,
a whole lot of patience and a little water go a long way.

The embalmer is a combination
surgeon and artist, I must say.
I am working extremely hard while keeping my emotions at bay.

It takes a particular person with a Devine calling to succeed in this field.
After many hours of service, numerous rewards I will yield.

I am satisfied with the accomplishments that I cannot measure.
I can only feel it in my heart, which brings great pleasure.
