Has God recorded your good deeds?
Have you done them in the name of Jesus, who bleeds
In the end, when the race is won
Only then will eternity have begun
Only By what God has recorded
With Crowns, we will be rewarded
I thank Him every day for blessing me in such a quiet way
That in serving others in his will, I may stay

In whispers soft, the Spirit speaks,
Guiding us through truth's mystique.
A beacon bright, a gentle guide,
In the depths of uncertainty, it shall reside.
John 16:13, a promise divine,
Of a Spirit's presence, heavenly and fine.
When shadows gather, doubts surround,
It is this truth that we have found.
The Spirit of truth, a faithful friend,
Whose voice echoes without an end.
He will not speak of His own accord,
But share the words of our precious Lord.
In sacred whispers, secrets unfold,
Stories untold, yet to be told.
He illuminates the path we tread,
Guiding us toward what lies ahead.
With wisdom vast, His knowledge pure,
He brings clarity, sharpness, and sure.
The mysteries of life, He will unveil,
In His guidance, we shall prevail.
Through valleys deep and mountains high,
He journeys with us every nigh
The Spirit's voice, a soothing balm,
Revealing the Father's eternal calm.
In times of struggle, when hope seems faint,
He whispers solace, free of restraint.
With divine insight, He lights our way,
Leading us closer to the break of day.
Oh, Spirit of truth, our faithful guide,
In Your presence, we shall abide.
Speak to us, reveal what's concealed,
For in Your truth, our hearts are healed.
John 16:13, a promise we embrace,
That in Your guidance, we find our place.
For You are the voice that never deceives,
In You, the truth our souls believe.

In realms where words are scarce to capture grace,
Where human tongues fall short in an endless chase,
There shines a verse, a beacon strong and true,
A testament of love both old and new.
"But God commendeth His love toward us,"
In these few lines, a truth divine discussed,
For a while, we wandered lost in sin's abyss,
A sacrifice was made to grant us bliss.
While yet we dwelled in darkness, void of light,
Christ offered up Himself, a holy rite,
The Lamb of God, the sinless Son of Man,
Embraced the cross, fulfilling Heaven's plan.
No earthly love could fathom such a feat,
A love that reached beyond all time and heartbeats,
For in our brokenness, He saw our worth,
And through His death, He granted us rebirth.
He bore our burden, took upon our shame,
So we may know redemption's sacred flame,
With open arms, He beckons us to come,
And find in Him a love that's never done.
Oh, wondrous love, unfathomable and grand,
That in our weakest state, He takes our hand.
He bridged the gap between the heavens high,
And Earth's fallen realm with a single cry.
So let us, grateful hearts, forever sing,
Of Christ, our Savior, and the joy He brings,
For in His sacrifice, our souls are free,
To dwell in love and endless harmony.
In Romans, we find solace and embrace,
A verse that shines with mercy's tender grace,
Christ's love commended, written in divine trust,
For while we were yet sinners, He died for us.

The sky is the limit; I've heard this phrase many times
Not sure how to reach these lofty heights without committing a crime
Having to do with there being no end to my ambition
The answer lies in truly finding my divine mission
As time passes by and the more experience I gain
The plan unfolds before me without being restrained
I surprised myself with what I have accomplished
Realizing it's a constant task that is never finished
With God’s help and never-ending power
I try to teach the sky with every approaching hour
Thank you, God, for giving me the vision
To strive for my goal beyond any reason

Light at the end of the tunnel would seem to be a welcoming sight
Or is it a locomotive bearing down on you with all of its might
Always look for the light; beware from whence it comes
It may be the last light you see, turning you into crumbs

In God's sacred dwelling, where love should reside,
Distinctions are made, and unity denied.
This sin of division, it lingers today,
Driving the divine Spirit far, far away.
For God's love knows no bounds, no partiality,
It cares not for outward appearances, you see.
In His Church, true differences lie within,
Humility, purity, righteousness therein.
No more should we judge by what meets the eye,
But seek the depths of the soul, where truth does lie.
Let not the walls of prejudice confine,
The unity we crave, the harmony divine.
For pride breeds discord, and envy does seethe,
It poisons our hearts, like a venomous wreath.
But in humility, we find true peace,
And in purity, our souls find release.
Let righteousness guide our thoughts and our deeds,
As we tend to the wounds that division breeds.
Embrace one another with love unconfined,
And let God's grace shine, in our hearts entwined.
For in His house, no walls should divide,
But a sanctuary of love, where all can abide.
Let us cast away judgment, embrace unity,
And welcome the Spirit, with joy and serenity.
So let us be vessels of love, pure and true,
Shattering the barriers that hinder the view.
For God's love is impartial, forever and a day,
In His Church, let unity and grace hold sway.

The ground at the cross is level for you and me
God's Love is available to everyone on bended knee
Rich or poor, God's bountiful Love frees us
For all seeking Him through His Son, Jesus
At the Cross that day, God's Love came to earth to stay
When Jesus shed His blood on the Cross that day
Thank you, God, for giving us an escape from sin
That through your Son Jesus, the race we may win

In everything good that is told, be very Bold
Tell about His Son Jesus of His weight in Gold
God will give you the power to share His Love in every hour.
Bringing many showers of blessings on his beautiful flowers
Unless we spread the word of Jesus, God’s Son
The prize in the race of life will never be won

The Young King Josiah. Illustration for Boys of Bible Story by C J Ridgeway (Griffith Farran, c 1890).
A young boy named Josiah, at the age of eight
Ruling the kingdom befell his fate
He asked his mother, Jedidah what must I do
She said I will pray to God and give the answers to you
As this young man grew in statue
He prayed to God to see him through
With many challenges lying ahead
He intently listened to what God said
Josiah's been blessed by God all his life
Because of his Love for God
He led a life of little strife
