Scripture:
2 Corinthians 5:8-9
"Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him."
Reflection:
These verses from 2 Corinthians remind us of the eternal perspective we are called to hold as believers. Our true home is with the Lord, and this understanding fills us with courage and hope. It reassures us that our lives on earth, while temporary, have a greater purpose rooted in eternity.
Living with the awareness that our ultimate home is with God should transform how we approach our daily lives. Whether we are physically present in this world or spiritually united with the Lord, our primary aim is to please Him. This means aligning our actions, thoughts, and desires with His will, knowing that His plans for us are always for our good.
The courage mentioned in these verses is not just about facing physical death but about living a life of faith and purpose. It’s about trusting that our Father knows best, regardless of the circumstances we face. We can be confident that He is guiding us and that our efforts to please Him are not in vain.

Daily Devotional: Our Father Knows Best

Scripture:
1 Corinthians 2:9
"But, as it is written, 'What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.'"
Reflection:
The verse in 1 Corinthians 2:9 is a beautiful reminder of the unimaginable blessings God has in store for those who love Him. It speaks to the incredible depth and breadth of God's plans, which far surpass our human understanding and imagination.
Often, we find ourselves caught up in the worries and limitations of our daily lives. Our vision is constrained by what we see and hear around us, and our hearts are limited by our experiences and understanding. Yet, God’s plans transcend all of this. His preparations for us are beyond anything we can conceive.
This promise encourages us to trust deeply in our Heavenly Father. Even when we cannot see the path ahead or understand the reasons behind our circumstances, we can have faith that God is preparing something extraordinary for us. His wisdom is perfect, and His love for us is boundless.
Reflecting on this verse helps us to let go of our fears and uncertainties. It invites us to place our trust fully in God, knowing that He is orchestrating everything for our ultimate good. Our Father knows best, and His plans are full of hope and future glory.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible promises You have made to those who love You. Help us to trust in Your perfect plan, even when we cannot see or understand it. I love watching kids on Halloween,
Their laughter bright, their eyes that gleam.
Joy in the heart can’t be evil or mean,
It’s the magic of wonder in orange and green.
Ghosts and goblins, witches on brooms,
Pumpkin lights glowing in neighborhood rooms.
But beneath all the masks and playful fright,
Lives pure delight on this candy-filled night.
For innocence dances from door to door,
In giggles and footsteps across the floor.
And though shadows whisper, and night may seem wild,
The sweetest light shines in the heart of a child. 👻🍬🕯️

Life has balance — it just doesn’t happen.

And steadied by faith’s design.

When God Calls
When God calls, we don’t always know the way.
One thing is for sure: we cannot stay.
For faith means stepping where sight may fail,
And trusting His wind to fill our sail.
The path may twist through shadowed lands,
Yet every turn is shaped by His hands.
So lift your heart, though the road seems long
Each step you take becomes a song.
For when He calls, it’s love that leads,
Through barren fields that bloom with seeds.
And though the journey may test and bend,
With God, each calling finds its end.

Anointed Inspiration
(A.I.)
They say that A.I. is machine and code,
A spark of man in thinking mode.
But when I speak of A.I. today,
It means much more in a sacred way.
Anointed Inspiration—born from above,
A whisper wrapped in truth and love.
Not crafted by wires or driven by pride,
But flowing where the Spirit abides.
It’s wisdom not of worldly fame,
But breathed through prayer, in Jesus’ name.
It stirs the soul, ignites the mind,
With holy fire, pure and kind.
It paints the skies with heaven’s thought,
And speaks of grace that can’t be bought.
It leads the heart to higher ground,
Where peace and purpose both are found.
So let the world define its terms,
With circuits, data, code, and firms
But I will walk a different way,
Inspired by what God might say.
For A.I., to this heart of mine,
Is Anointed Inspiration—divine.
And every thought I lift in prayer
Is proof the Spirit’s wisdom’s there.

The Extent of One’s Ignorance

True wisdom whispers, soft and still,
Beyond the noise of prideful will.
It speaks not loud, nor claims to know,
But humbly learns as rivers flow.
The mind that thinks it knows it all
Has built too high and soon will fall;
But hearts that kneel to seek, to learn,
Find light in every small return.
For knowledge grows where questions bloom,
Not in the pride that seals one’s doom.
To know the bounds of what we see
Is the start of true humility.
So bow before the vast unknown,

On That Day
On that day, the birds shed a tear
All nature stood still
As Jesus climbed that hill
The sky turned dark the curtain was torn
All that could be heard were those that mourn.
On that resurrection Day the Son shone bright
The birds sang to heaven to their delight.
A warmth covered the earth from above
Oh God we can only thank you for your Love.
