What makes me bitter or better
Might I have received an unexpected letter 
Perhaps I decided to start working with my many family and friends together

Putting off what I know I should do
Often brings bitterness within
If I find the courage to do what is right
Happiness will be my friend

As I come to a crossroads in life 
I pray you to show me the way to less strife

At the end of the road, when I draw 
my last breath
My only desire is to lie down with you in eternal rest.

Whose table do I slip my feet under
There are many from time to time 
I have many family and friends 
With whom I have dined

Being excited about The Banquet Tabel of God
I can only RSVP after this life I've trod

Jesus is The Truth, The Way, and the key to eternal life
Only by accepting Him will I be invited to that Banquet Tabel of Life

All well up from our hearts
Being in God's Plan of Love from the very start

Tears of all kinds may be fulfilling 
When shed in God's will
He is always hovering over us
Whispering Peace be still

If we have this wisdom in our hearts, we have nothing to fear
Bowing our heads and thanking God for being so very near

Looking to our maker, God, above
He sent me here on earth, made with his love

So the answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind. 
He sent me to be a loving friend

Do you kick him to the curb in the cold cold Air? 

God might treat you like you treat your dog. 
You might find yourself in an eerie fog. 

Be very careful what you do. 
It might come back to really haunt you.

Changing to improve your situation 
Can bring you great eleation 

We can change outwardly. We can change inwardly.
The most profitable being changing both simultaneously 

There's always room for change no matter where we are in life
I pray the difference we make will bring much less strife

I was a condemned man for what I had done
Oh, if I had only not had that gun

Being condemned and sentenced to prison to die
That's where I found Jesus, setting my soul free to fly

Finding the love of God, changing my life all around
Discovering my soul is set free from this earthly ground

Thank you, Loving God, for saving me
I'll be flying from this old jail cell on bended knee
