A Tribute to Charlie Kirk

           A TRIBUTE TO CHARLIE KIRK

A Life of Faith and Conviction

From early days, his heart was set,
On freedom’s cause, he’d not forget.
With eyes on Heaven, truth his guide,
In God’s great Word, he did abide.

A servant first, both strong and kind,
A husband faithful, heart aligned.
A father’s love, so pure, so true,
His every step for others too.

From humble start in a small-town space,
A vision burned, a fire took place.
Turning Point rose, its voice grew strong,
To guard the right, resist the wrong.

He lived with courage, free from fear,
For faith, for family, he drew near.
His calling clear, his purpose plain,
That freedom’s torch might still remain.

Though thirty-one brief years were given,
His path was marked, his eyes on Heaven.
And now he hears, from Christ above,
“Well done, good servant, whom I love.”

We’ll honor him in what we do,
By standing firm, by living true.
His legacy, a guiding flame,
For truth, for faith, for freedom’s name.

Mat 25:23  His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.

Pass the Baton of Love

 Pass the Baton of Love

If you give a tenth unto your Lord,
He will return tenfold, His word.
Not for your glory, but all for His,
The giver of life, the promise that is.

Pass it along, as you’ve been told,
A treasure greater than silver or gold.
Keep the channel of Love open wide,
So blessings will flow, none denied.

He said, “Feed My sheep,”—a call so true,
A charge for me, a charge for you.
Pass the baton of Love above,
That others may know God’s Son Jesus and his Love

John 21:17 (KJV)
“Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.”

We Shall Never Forget

  We Shall Never Forget

9/11 — we shall never forget,
Honor the souls we lost that day.
Lives cut short, hearts forever torn,
A nation grieving, forced to pray.

Taken too soon on that fateful morn,
Their memory burns, their legacy stays.
Through sorrow and fire, courage was born,
Heroes arose in countless ways.

Remembering the past keeps vision clear,
Reminds us of what we must defend.
To cherish freedom, to stand without fear,
To guard each moment until the end.

The Loss of Love

       The Loss of Love

Politics boils with anger today,
Its voice grows harsh, its heart led astray.
Once built for people, for justice, for care,
Now power and pride fill the halls of the air.

The reason is simple, the truth plain to see,
They’ve lost love for humanity.
Without compassion, no law can stand,
No healing will come to a broken land.

But if love returns, both gentle and strong,
It will quiet the hate, and right what is wrong.
For the heart that seeks people above the fight,
Will guide politics back to mercy and light.

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.”
— Micah 6:8 (NIV)

True Love

              True Love

Love cannot be purchased,
it cannot be sold.
Its worth is beyond silver or gold,
Promising forever, a treasure so true,
A heart that is steadfast, a love made for you.

We long to be wanted, to be truly known,
To have a heart we can call our own.
But false hearts deceive, their aim is untrue,
They take what they can, then vanish from view.

The love of Christ sets every soul free.
Open to Him—no payment, no fee.
Just an open heart is all He requires,
To fill you with love and holy desires.

1Jn 4:19  We love him, because he first loved us.

Diamond Head

           Diamond Head

From above, it seems a world long lost,
A green-carved crown at history’s cost.
A crater deep, a scar of flame,
Half a million years, yet still the same.

One eruption, one fierce breath,
From fiery birth to silent rest.
Now trails of wonder wind the land,
Where ocean, sky, and mountain stand.

Tourists climb, and stories stay,
Where nature carved her grand display.
Not just creation, but memory’s thread,
Etched in the earth—
Diamond Head.

Isaiah 26:4 (KJV)
“Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.”

The Snare of Temptation

      The Snare of Temptation

Temptation comes in subtle guise,
A fleeting spark before our eyes.
It whispers softly, “This won’t harm,”
A cunning voice, a fleeting charm.

It promises joy, it paints things bright,
Yet leads us far from God’s pure light.
What glitters soon will fade away,
Leaving regret where hope should stay.

But in the storm, God’s Word is near,
His Spirit speaks, His voice is clear:
“Resist the foe, and he will flee,
My grace is strong, lean hard on Me.”

No trial is greater than His hand,
He gives escape, a way to stand.
So walk with faith, keep guard, take care,
For Christ has conquered every snare.

James 4:7 (KJV)
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

The Rising Tide

   🌊 The Rising Tide 🌊

The rising tide of Spirit near,
Lifts every heart, removes all fear.
No vessel small, no soul too frail,
His living breath will fill the sail.

From quiet coves to oceans wide,
He stirs the waters deep inside.
Grace like waves begins to swell,
With power no words can truly tell.

Together we rise, as one we float,
For the Spirit’s tide lifts every boat.
A harbor of peace, a shore made new,
God’s Spirit flows, and carries you.

— Mark C. Waldrop

Isaiah 59:19 (KJV)
“When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.”

We’re Blest to Be a Blessing

We’re Blest to Be a Blessing

The gifts we hold are not our own,
They’re seeds of love the Lord has sown.
Grace received is grace to share,
A call to kindness everywhere.

Our blessings flow like streams of light,
To lift the weary, make wrongs right.
For what God gives is never less—
We’re blest to bless, so others bless.

Genesis 12:2 – “And I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.”

Selfless Service

         Selfless Service

Selfless service, the soldier’s creed,
A call to answer in time of need.
At West Point’s gates, they learn to give,
To guard the land so others live.

The willingness to serve, a noble start,
Discipline forged, with courage of heart.
Yet even the strongest must bow above,
For higher still is Christ’s great love.

West Point trains with duty in mind,
But Christ laid down His life for mankind.
One may teach how to fight and defend,
The other—how mercy and grace never end.

Both demand sacrifice, steadfast and true,
Yet Christ’s love redeems, makes all things new.
So honor the service that soldiers impart,
But know perfect love flows only from His heart.

Mark C. Waldrop

John 15:13 (KJV)
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
